On Sunday the 20th of June, the Lovers Film Festival, whose tickets are available exclusively online on the festival’s site, comes to an end in Turin at the Cinema Massimo.
At 4.45 PM in Sala Rondolino Lovers Meets Alessandro Zan. Alongside the Director Vladimir Luxuria, the Deputy Alessandro Zan, the Vice President of the Senate Anna Rossomando, the TV personality and presenter Costantino della Gherardesca and the Coordinator of Torino Pride’s Coordination Alessandro Battaglia (free entry). The day will finish with the Closing Night, at 8 PM in Sala Cabiria, which, in addition to the usual award ceremony, Vincenzo De Lucia’s performance and the screening of Sublet by Eytan Fox (Israel, 2020, 89’) – will include the participation of an internationally renowned musical guest: Malika Ayane.

THE FILM
Michael, a ‘New York Times’ journalist, who recently faced a personal tragedy, is in Tel Aviv for professional tasks which he hopes to carry out quickly. When he sublets the apartment of a young cinema student, Tomer, he finds himself involved in the city life. Michael and Tomer begin an unlikely and intense relationship which will change their lives. Eytan Fox, born in New York city and raised in Israel, previously at the Lovers Film Festival with The Bubble, Yossi and Cupcakes, analyses the various aspects of his identity narrating the relationship between two different and apparently distant men.
